COMPUTER ASSISTED HIP RESURFACING
Computer assisted
Hip resurfacing is the new innovation in Hip Resurfacing.
It makes the surgery more accurate and précised.
Computer navigation helps the surgeon to implant the
femoral prosthesis more accurate position. This reduces
the incidence of fracture neck femur following surgery
and increases the survival of the Resurfacing.
When computer navigation
is used the femoral prosthesis placed accurately very
close to the ideal position in the femoral head. This
highly reduces the chance of femoral neck fracture.

MINIMALLY INVASIVE
HIP RESURFACING
Hip Resurfacing
in true sense is a minimally bone invasive surgery.
The femoral canal is not invaded and only the exposed
femoral head is resurfaced. This help very much to reduce
the complications like fat embolism in the blood stream.
This is also less traumatic surgery than Hip Replacemenr
which helps fast recovery of the patient from the surgery.
Nowadays we do hip
resurfacing through small incision. This is achived
because of more experience of the surgeon and innovative
dedicated instruments. This helps to achive smaller
and cosmetic skin incision. This also helps patient
to recover fast from surgery and early discharge from
the hospital.
