My name is Eddie Molloy and I am from Dublin in Ireland.
I required urgently a Hip Resurfacing ( Right side)
, As I was unable to function.
As I reside in Bahrain, My Orthopaedic surgeon, suggested
that I have the hip surgery carried out by Dr.G.Balasubramanian
in
Sri Ramakrishna Hospital in Coimbatore. (This was my
first visit to India).
Having been enthusiastically greeted by Dr.G.Balasubramanian
On Friday 19th Oct- 2007, his very competent team immediately
started
carrying out tests in order to check my physical condition.

When Dr.G.Balasubramanian and his expert back up team,
were
Satisfied, Monday 22nd Oct – 2007 was the agreed
day for my operation. Every “Minute” detail
of what was going to take place was discussed, so that
there was no surprise for me at any time.
When I woke up after the operation . I asked the obvious
question, was the operation a success ! , The gentle
reply was yes, I was in the operation theatre for two
hours, for observation, but again I had been advised
of this.
Basically I was on my back and left side for two days
while carrying
Out exercises in the bed for blood circulation, I had
a 24 hours vigil to monitor my progress. Dr.G. Balasubramanian
and his expert team including the nursing staff were
fantastic, Constantly at my bedside continuously checking
/monitoring my progress.
Undoubtedly this made my progress all the speedier
on the third
Day, I was using the “Walker” to help me
walk again under the guidance
of the physio, After which I progressed to the walking
stick, again under
supervision.
Within 10days , I felt a different person, thanks
to Dr.G.Balasubramanian and his dedicated team.
As I prepare to go back home, I am looking forward
to leading a new life, Thank you Dr.G.Balasubramanian
and your “Wonderful Team”.
I shall remember you all – Always.
